Best Croissant in Philly Forced to Move

Artisan Boulanger Patissier has held down the fort at the corner of East Passyunk and Morris Streets for 21 years, turning out the best French pastries in Philly. Today, owners Amanda and Andre Chin told Eater that they're being forced to move into new digs because of a "disagreement with the landlord" that sounds something like a ridiculous $700 rent increase.

In April, the flour-dusted Cambodian owners will be headed down the way to 1218 Mifflin Street, which once housed Nino's Pasta Shop. We're a little bit paranoid about the idea of moving ovens that have been carefully calibrated after 21 years of service, so we plan on stocking up on pisatchio turnovers and baguettes for the next three months. We suggest you do the same.
