Groupon did their damndest to put Mt. Airy's Food for All market out of business, but local customers and fans saved owner Amy Kunkle from impending doom. Kunkle's store, which specializes in food for people with allergies, was almost forced to close because Groupon's sales force didn't tell her that she was allowed to limit the number of coupons sold online. Her losses totaled nearly $10,000 after the locusts had at her dealage. After sending emails to her loyal customer base that she was shuttering, help came in the form of friendly loans and volunteer time offered. They're reopening on Feb. 10. Sometimes you make us proud, Philly. [Newsworks]
