Philly's preeminent hot dog artist, Hawk Krall, is having a show at Hot Diggity on South Street this Friday, February 4, from 6 until 9 p.m. Krall will be selling prints of his uberpopular Hot Diggity Menu series for the first time ever at the show, which has us ridiculously excited.
On Krall's blog, he mentions that he's been recently working with hamburgers as an alternative subject matter, and promises a few burger paintings at the show, but not for sale. We're not sure how we feel about it, but if Monet ever wanted to paint roses instead of water lilies, he has every right.
Also, seeing Krall out in the wild is kind of awesome, as he has this mysterious Keyser Soze aura about him that is so damn cool. A friend of our cousin once knew a guy who met Krall at a White Castle in Jersey back in 2003. We're sure of it.
