It's a special day for Ellen Yin and the Fork restaurant family, as the stalwart Old City institution turns 15 years old today. In the early days, Fork was a critical darling and one of the trailblazers of Philly's culinary renaissance. Some very decorated chefs have worked the pots and pans at Fork, and Yin recently brought on NYC's Eli Kulp to start a new era for her Market Street restaurant
The Old City neighborhood has evolved (and in more than a few cases, de-volved), but Fork will surely stand the test of time while other restaurants open and close around them. Congratulations to Ellen Yin and the whole Fork family, and here's to another 15 years in business.
