Historic Cape May Lobster House Underwater

largepic_capemaylobsterhouse.jpgThe jaw-dropping imagery coming from the Jersey shore continues with this picture of extremely high water levels at The Lobster House in Cape May, which is arguably the region's most popular restaurant. Summertime regulars and working fishermen frequent the Lobster House, as it's been a seafood landmark for four generations.

Much of the fishing in the region is done off of the dock right behind the restaurant, where diners get the opportunity to purchase a variety of fresh seafood directly from the boats or the fresh market on site at The Lobster House.

Hurricane Sandy is already clobbering the Jersey shore, and hasn't even made landfall yet. Stay tuned.
