The year long renovation of the 100-year-old Lafayette Building is complete at 5th and Chestnut Streets, and that means the Hotel Monaco is open and ready to go as of tonight. This evening, The Red Owl, helmed by Beard Award-winning chef Guillermo Tellez is opening up shop, too, along with the rooftop bar and lounge, Stratus.

The restaurant will have 115 seats (25 outside), and offer breakfast lunch, and dinner. The menu is being called "rustic" and will be full of simple and seasonal flavors. Tellez is doing much of the butchering in house and is sourcing mostly local meats. The bar will have signature cocktails, wine, and a selection of craft beers in bottles and on draft. We've got all the details on the menu and liquor offerings for you down below.
