Former Philly Mag critic Joy Manning is the first to chime in on the Eli Kulp era at Fork, and came away impressed.
Manning is usually reserved when it comes to giving an official stamp of approval, so this is great news for owner Ellen Yin and the Fork crew. Manning told Eater about the highlights of her meal, which included homemade bialys with grass-infused cream cheese, and a hanger steak served with potatoes roasted in their own soil.
It looks like the addition of Eli Kulp to Fork could completely change the perception of the restaurant, which has always been consistently great, but never crossed into buzzy territory with the food-obsessed.
