Local scribes Alex Talbot, Aki Kamozawa and Adam Erace have been named as finalists for an IACP award in the category of Instructional Culinary Writing with Recipes. The series "Eat Shoots and Leaves" appeared on GiltTaste last summer and spoke to the virtues of cooking veggies. Talbot and Kamozawa are no strangers to critical acclaim, as their book Ideas in Food was up for The Piglet recently, and they are busy working on their second tome. Erace, when not running Green Aisle Grocery, is busy writing award-winning food criticism for the City Paper. [IACP via Eater National]
