Obama-Carroll Wire

In continuing with our All-Jen-Carroll-Thursday theme, we just got word that the Concrete Blonde herself will be cooking for First Lady Michelle Obama sometime in the next two weeks. Because of security issues and non-disclosure agreements, Carroll couldn't nail down the date for Eater, but did say it is taking place somewhere in Texas. The theme of the event is about healthy cooking for children, which is in line with Mrs. Obama's new initiative to make government-subsidized meals in schools edible and healthy. [EaterWire, NYT]
