Ramen Boy has re-opened in Chinatown after a purported issue with a gas line. During their short period of shutter we noticed that the cooks were still working away on the line, which means they were probably fine-tuning their product which received some nasty opening remarks. We tried a bowl of the Classic Ramen today, and can safely say it's still a disappointment, as there is almost no flavor in the broth. They somehow managed to make the pork loin dry, too, even though it's swimming in liquid at all times. We're really heartbroken, as we've been waiting with baited breath for a legitimate ramen joint, and we hope they can still turn it around. Guess we're heading up to Ippudo for our fix. [EaterWire]
