Pliny the Younger a Black Tie Affair at Varga Bar

We're sure you're all Pliny-ed out for the day, and frankly so are we, but we have one last bit of Younger news to pass along. Varga Bar will be tapping their keg on Sunday, March 25th at 8PM in a black tie event with a twist.

GM Rich Colli said that during the month of March, Varga Bar will be tapping special kegs each and every Sunday (think Troeg's Nugget Nectar, Bell's Hopslam, New Holland Blue Sunday), and the top 5 people who check in on Facebook during those special events (as well as their March Madness Keg King contest) will get first taste of Pliny The Younger when it's tapped on the 25th in a special red carpet affair.

"I'm getting photographers and everything," said Colli. "We want to have fun with this, since it's so absurd the amount of press it gets. We will accept suits and ties, it doesn't need to be a tux."

The red carpet will be out at 7PM, the VIP tasting will begin at 7:45PM, and the general public will get their opportunity to snag one at 8PM on the button.

"But, you better be dressed to impress, or no Pliny for you," Colli said jokingly. "We've got to keep it classy."
