Philly's Vinnie Caligiuri in Finals of Worst Cooks in America Next Sunday

vinnieworstcooks.jpgVinnie "The Crumb" Caligiuri, from Philly 'burb Jenkintown, has made it all the way to the finals of Worst Cooks in America on the Food Network. Next Sunday, April 1st at 9PM, Caligiuri will take on Kelli Powers from Village Valley, California in a winner-takes-all showdown at David Burke Kitchen in SoHo in NYC.

The previously inept cooks must make a multi-course meal that will be judged by chefs Marcus Samuelsson, Susan Feniger, and David Burke. Team captains Anne Burrell and Bobby Flay will be involved in the decision-making process, as well, which means they're going to try and steal as much spotlight as possible.

Caligiuri has been a fan favorite since the early going as his personality is larger than life, he rocks a serious Philly accent, and shows that big men can cry in the right situations. He takes every opportunity to Italian-ize whatever dish he's working on, and lives to impress his wife and sons. Vinnie, you make Philly proud.
