GAYBORHOOD — Mercato is launching lunch service starting on April 16. This is great news as the stalwart Gayborhood spot is one of Philly's most underrated. Expect dinner faves served as half-portions, including the lobster and shrimp pyramid pasta, as well as some new paninis and sandwiches from chef Evan Turney. We're excited. [EaterWire]
CENTER CITY — Looks like the forever-in-coming Rice & Mix finally has posted a menu, which means they're probably pretty close to opening. Dishes don't seem to be much more pricey than $10, and it appears that there will be some Korean fried chicken coming to the party. Sweet. [Midtown Lunch]
STADIUMS — Yay, giant corporate machine Comcast is opening a new entertainment complex called Xfinity Live. Yawn. Inside is a bunch of chain-y places that no one really cares about, but at least it's an option if you're already down there for the game. We just can't get excited for this. [CBS]
