Realtor Anne Frey has bought 2006 Chestnut (formerly Jolly's Dueling Piano Bar) and is going into the bar business. The Insider is reporting that the drinkery will be called 1 Tippling Place, and that Frey was inspired to join the liquor fray because of a lack of comfortable bars in her neighborhood. Frey added that the new project will "have a living room feel, and appeal to clientele of a certain age," which sounds borderline suggestive, and we love it. Also, with Frey's complete lack of experience in the business, this could be a serious breath of fresh air for Rittenhouse. [The Insider]
