Green Eggs Cafe is currently in their soft opening phase at 1301 Locust Street. They've just announced that the official opening date will be next Monday, April 16th with a menu identical to their South Philly and Northern Liberties locations. 1301 Locust was most recently Signatures Strip Club (the back room has been updated to house NestPhilly), and has had a few other industry folks interested in taking it over before Steve Slaughter and his crew signed on the dotted line.

The restaurant will be open from 8AM until 4 PM every day, serving breakfast and lunch favorites. Their signature Kitchen Sink, which is a skillet full of eggs and cheese, onions, peppers, potatoes, over a gigantic biscuit smothered in gravy, has made the trip up north, of course.

The Northern Liberties location was the scene for a shoot of MTV's Made last month. No word on when the episode will air.
