David Chang Defeats Questlove in Battle: Fried Chicken

Last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the long-awaited Questlove vs. David Chang fried chicken battle took place, with Chang defeating The Afro in a clean sweep. Homeboy Questlove took it in stride on the show, but was noticeably taciturn on his beloved Twitter feed after the showdown. The man takes his chicken seriously.

The judging panel was made up of celebrities John Slattery (of Mad Men fame), Tina Fey, and, um, Higgins, Fallon's sidekick. All three judges looked blown away after sampling Questo's bird, but they still went with Chang's version, even though Fey remarked it tasted like "Shake N' Bake," and Slattery mentioned how small it was. Hmmmm. This must have been a big heartbreak for Questo on a personal level, as he is one of the most devoted Mad Men fans in the universe.
