Iron Chef Jose Garces signed a deal last week to open a restaurant in the Kimmel Center. The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that the new restaurant is part of a $14 million renovation to the 11-year-old structure. Garces' new spot will have between 80 and 100 seats, and have a separate entrance from The Kimmel, so it isn't restricted by their operating hours. Opening day is expected in early 2013. [The Inky]
