Cafe Chimosa Takes Over Former Almanac Market

The Almanac Market shuttered on 4th Street in NoLibs a little while back, much to the chagrin of locals, but a little BYO has shown up in the same spot called Cafe Chimosa.

Cafe Chimosa operates as a cafe in the morning with pastries and egg sandwiches, and One Village Coffee. But, once the evening comes around, they're serving up more Spanish dishes, like ceviche, tortas, and whatever else chef Gregory Stevcic can come up with. It's worth noting that they have a really sweet record collection at Chimosa, and patrons are allowed to play whatever they want on the giant old school record player.

The space is heavy on the funk, as the loud wallpaper and beautiful old furniture set this place apart from other eateries in the neighborhood.
