A sign went up today at 901 Race Street bearing the name Vietnam House. The New Harmony Bakery that lived there is no more, and Eater hasn't been able to nail down an opening date for Vietnam House, but details are coming soon. The menu isn't posted, but you can bet there will be a noodle soup to try out. You a-pho-cianados should keep an eye on the place. This doesn't make up for the imminent shuttering of Cafe Chau down in South Philly, but this town always welcomes another place to get pho.
Thanks to the keen eye of our tipsters for this one. See a new sign or liquor license up on a building in your neighborhood? Send us a pic to our email at philly@eater.com and help get the word out.
