Zahav found a lot of success with their summer "Down the Shore" blowouts, and this year, Mike Solomonov & Co. are throwing the weirdest one yet: Zombie Luau Surf Party on July 3rd at 6 P.M. Tickets are on sale for $75, and include all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink, a photo booth, and live music.
"Originally we wanted to do surf music, but when we looked for surf bands, all of them were zombie surf bands," said Solomonov. "So, we figured, why not do a zombie surf party? Sounds good to me."
Solomonov has rounded up the usual cheffy suspects to help him throw the party, including Erin O’Shea of Percy Street Barbecue; Terence Feury of Fork; Pierre Calmels of Bibou; Jen Carroll of Top Chef and the upcoming Concrete Blonde; Monica Glass of Fish; John Taus of The Corner; Pete Woolsey of Bistrot La Minette; and Dave Katz of Mémé.
The food will all be Hawaiian themed and include a few whole roasted pigs that Chef O'Shea is cooking up at Percy Street BBQ. Reservations are required, and can be made by calling Zahav at (215) 625-8800.
