Green Wasabi is opening at 703 Chestnut Street this coming Monday, May 21st. What was once Delicatessen is now becoming a modern Japanese joint with sushi and Philly's newest favorite thing, ramen. To celebrate their opening, Green Wasabi is offering 20% off the bill for each customer. No word on how long that dealage will last, but it's a good reason to check it out in the early going.

The menu prices are pretty decent, especially considering the neighborhood, as bento boxes average around $9, and only three dishes go over the $10 mark. Hopefully the Green Wasabi crew can make it work here, as this location hasn't been good to previous owners.
