Morgan's Pier is opening tonight at Penn's Landing and bringing lots of beer and grilling. Owner Avram Hornik continues his domination of Philly with his take on the outdoor beer garden, following the recent re-launch of Ortlieb's Lounge, and his upcoming Boot & Saddle redux on South Broad Street.
David Katz of Mémé is responsible for the summery menu (where nothing is over $10), and they've got 20 beers on the draft list ready for your consumption. Add in another 20 cans of craft beer, and there's something for everyone. Morgan's Pier is planning a series of guest chef BBQ parties and R5 and the Making Time crew will be responsible for live music. It's going to be a great summer.
