It's official. Hop Sing Laundromat is opening tonight at 5 p.m. Eater got tipped off by an HSL staffer that the bar crew was gearing up to open the doors this weekend. Owner Lêe confirmed the rumors to be true, but only after quite a bit of needling. The bar will be open Friday and Saturday this weekend. Starting in June, Hop Sing Laundromat will be open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. In July, they'll be open six nights a week. The hours of the bar are 5 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Lêe added that all drinks are $10 (including tax), and the bar will be cash-only the first weekend, as a custom POS is still in development. After the soft opening (the entire month of June), Hop Sing Laundromat will be offering a membership program. Lêe wouldn't divulge any info about what the membership will add in terms of service, but it's probably worth getting on that list.

If you follow Hop Sing Laundromat on Twitter, you can send them a direct message and request a table during the soft opening period. If you need a refresher on that ridiculous well liquor list, the details are right here. And tonight, you'll get to see it for yourself tonight. If you're planning on storming the castle, don't forget Lêe's dress code, too.

When we asked Lêe why he decided to cut the ribbon on a holiday weekend, he joked, "I was hoping no one would be around."

Whether you've been waiting for Hop Sing Laundromat to fail, or the chance to pull up a stool and drink the Kool-Aid, tonight is the night. Feel free to bring along the Haterade, too. Lêe probably has a liquor to make it just a little bit sweeter.
