liquorlicensepump.jpgAn eagle-eyed tipster (Thanks, Greg!) sent us in this newly-posted liquor license at the corner of Columbus Blvd. and Race Street (across from the new Race Street Pier) that bears the name The Philly Pump House. The application has the name J&J Trestle Inn, Inc., which is tied to John Wigfall, who used to run the 11th and Callowhill Street drinkery when it was a strip club. The current owners of The Trestle Inn have no affiliation with this new project.

With Avram Hornik opening Morgan's Pier beer garden just down the way, there will be a little something for everyone, and finally bring crowds to a location no one's cared about, well, ever.

UPDATE: Looks like commenters are saying this will be the year round bar that will be the home for the Philly Live Arts/Fringe Fest. Which means outdoor seating, but no stripping. Thanks for the update!
