New Ownership at Plenty

Looks like there is a new regime in control at Plenty, the artisanal sandwich shop on East Passyunk. Meal Ticket is reporting that Anthony and Damon Masiceri have taken control of the spot once owned by Jesse Spalletta and Adam Baas. Plenty was in flux for awhile, as opening chef Tim McGinnis left last May, and the quality never returned to the high bar he set early on.

The Mascieri's plan on making a few changes to the menu, but will keep the fan favorites. They're adding brunch soon, and are waiting on an espresso machine so they can offer proper coffee service. Housemade mozzarella and foccacia are on the way, too.
