Introducing Eater's First Ever Pizza Week

Ladies and gentlemen, Eater readers of all ages, please inch a little closer to the computer screen for a special announcement. Starting right now and ending, oh, around 5 p.m. Friday, Eater will be your headquarters for all things pizza for this, our first ever Eater Pizza Week. We're going to sit down with some of the city's best pizzamakers, talk to chefs about the best slices in the city, and feature all manner of maps and guides and more.

This couldn't have happened at a better time, as Philly's pizza cred is quickly rising, and new high-end shops and corner slice locations are popping up left and right. So, whether you're an old-schooler who still lives and dies by the Tacconelli standard, or, if you get why new-comer Nomad never cuts their pies, there's a little something for everyone. Lastly, this isn't just happening here in Philly. Every outpost of the Eater universe is joining in on this celebration of pizza. It's gonna be great.
