While Colin Farrell has been a fixture around town for the last month shooting a movie, two other celebrities were seen dining in Philly on multiple occasions over the weekend.
Superstar actor Bill Murray was in town to cheer on the Chicago Bulls in the playoffs, and showed up at Stephen Starr's Jones on Friday before tipoff, and then the next day at Square Peg for lunch before the Sixers delivered the second of back-to-back losses to his beloved squad. No word on what Murray ate at Jones, but the comedian interacted with the staff and chef Matt Levin at Square Peg, going so far as to send a pair of camo pants from I. Goldberg back to his server as a parting gift.
Keith Hernandez, the New York Mets baseball hero who gained mainstream celebrity after a few notable appearances on Seinfeld, drank at Parc in Rittenhouse Square. No word on why the beautiful man-specimen was in town, but he can surely stay here as long as he wants, even though he is a New York Met. The bartenders at Parc wouldn't say if Hernandez asked any of them to help him move, even though he only just met them.
