Justin Rosenberg's Honeygrow is opening next Thursday, June 7 at the corner of 16th and Ionic Streets. The Honeygrow concept is high-end stir fry and salad, where customers create their order on touchscreens (pictured above), and a few pre-designed plates for those diners who want something quick. Some of the stir-fry options include a choice of soba, rice, wheat and gluten-free noodles, and serious sauces like Indonesian barbeque, spicy Szechuan, Cantonese orange and ginger scallion.
The menu contains shots of hi-def imagery broken down by ingredient, with dressing listed on the lower right corner, and heat and spice factor highlighted. Rosenberg said prices will be in the $8 - $10 range for entrees, and $4 - $6 for frozen drinks and smoothies. The restaurant is designed by DAS, with 35 seats and a slick, modern design. Ultimately, Rosenberg plans on expanding the concept throughout the region.
