Dave Garry and Heather Gleason, owners of The Good Dog, are getting ready to open thier latest watering hole, The Industry, tomorrow night at the corner of East Moyamensing and Reed Streets. Dedicated to the hard-working folks of the food industry and the locals in Pennsport, The Industry is looking to become a neighborhood bar with great drinks and high-quality grub.

The Good Dog is known for a serious craft beer list (one of the city first and finest) and pub food that raised the bar for everyone else in Philly. Garry is continuing that tradition here, as he has tapped Vetri and The Farm and Fisherman vet Pat Szoke to design and execute the menu.

The space can handle 80 diners, including an 18-seat bar and a long communal table made from reclaimed wood. To continue the food-industry theme, original black and white portraits of local hospitality personalities, including chefs and brewers, adorn the walls.
