Dear readers of Eater Philly, we need your help. We're compiling a list of the most iconic dishes in Philadelphia history, and need some suggestions. You can either add them in the comments below, or email them to us at philly@eater.com. Or, tweet at us with the hashtag #iconicdishes.

What is an iconic dish? One that you can still get today that defines or highlights our best and brightest cooks, or a must-have for out-of-towners. We also need to know where you can get the best versions of that dish, too. No cheesesteaks, please, but stuff like a roast pork from John's, or tomato pie from the Conshohocken Bakery are the kind of stuff we're looking for. Next week, we'll unveil the best of the best, those dishes that define your Philadelphia dining experience.

Have at it.
