After a successful soft-opening period, cocktail mecca Hop Sing Laundromat has kicked into high gear and is open full-time. On Tuesday through Saturday, the bar is open from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m., and on Sunday, they open the doors an hour later.
Lêe, the proud owner of the establishment, has announced that his drinks will go up in price come fall ($12, up from the $10 launch price), but has tempered that bad news with some good news. If you're a food service employee and bring in your pay stub, a menu of drinks will be $8 on Sunday night.
"It's about time that people choosing to drink good stuff stop getting ripped off. You can't find a cheaper price than that in any other craft cocktail bar in the country," Lêe told Eater. "And, I eat out a lot, and know a lot of the chefs, servers, and bartenders, so this is a way to give a little back for all of their hard work."
