Philly's greatest bread-baker, Artisan Boulanger Patissier, is moving to a new space at 1218 Mifflin Street in late August after 21 years at their current location. Owner Andre Chin said the move will include more changes than just the address on the front door.
"We're going to have sushi, sandwiches, and more high-end French pastries than we did before," Chin told Eater. "The move will be a challenge and a new opportunity for us. And, of course, we will still have all of our breads we've had for the last 20 years."
The original location is being taken over by chef Chris Scarduzio, who plans on opening an Italian seafood restaurant. No timeline has been revealed for that project yet.
