Looks like the wave of ramen hitting Philly isn't ebbing just yet, as Hiro Ramen House has announced they're setting up shop on Chestnut Street. The menu is quite short with just four options, but the descriptions are very emotional and read like the back of a grandiose wine label.
"A person’s life is an endless pursuit, a search and as in the Japanese Kanji “Hiro”, this ramen is an endless search. Updated monthly but always topped with Pork Belly, Bamboo, Marinated Soft-Boiled Egg, Scallion and Naruto."
That's how the profile of the Hiro ramen reads, so it must be one serious soup. The shop is open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday through Sunday, and closed Monday.
