SEPTA's Useful, Eco-Friendly Farmers Market Guide

View SEPTA Farmers Markets in a larger map

SEPTA recently released a very cool Farmers Market guide that shows specific public transportation information for you eco-minded people. Each map point names the market or stand, their hours, and what bus routes, regional rail, or subway will get you there. What's even more impressive is the fact that they uncover a few previously-unknown markets that have really odd operating hours. The map is pretty deep, too, and stretches as far north as Newtown, and as far west as West Chester.

While this doesn't completely make up for the frequent ineptness that befalls our local public transportation network, it leaves the Philadelphia Parking Authority as the undisputed Worst Organization in the City of Philadelphia. Good going, SEPTA.

H/T to Liz Spikol over at Curbed Philly.
