A fire tore through Ristorante Longano in the Northeast on Tuesday, injuring a firefighter who has since been released from the hospital. Longano is a neighborhood favorite, known for their wood-fired pizza and Italian classics.
The restaurant suffered severe interior damage in the fire, and there's no timetable for re-opening. Hopefully, this fire is the last for the summer, joining the major blaze that gutted South Street's famous pizza joint, Lorenzo's.
