Pure Tacos is ready to pop this coming Monday, July 9. Owners Ted Schroeder and David Humphrey have been training the staff for the past week, and are working out the last minute kinks before their big reveal early next week.

"They're getting some real-world experience now, but it's going well," Humphrey told Eater. "And the signage was a little late, so we had to scramble, but all is in place for next week. It's exciting."

Pure Tacos is joining the gluten-free movement, as one of the owners suffers from Celiac Disease, but still wanted to eat delicious food. The original Pure Tacos, which lives on the Ocean City boardwalk, is a huge hit with locals, and has been aiming for Center City Philly for quite awhile. The wait ends for all of us on Monday.
