The Cambridge opens tonight at 1508 South Street, in what was once the beloved live music venue, Tritone. Owned by the crew behind Hawthorne's, The Cambridge is another entry into the gastropub scene, with craft beers, craft cocktails, and crafty food.
The venue has been completely overhauled, and is made up of so many cords of reclaimed wood, with a gorgeous outdoor patio section hidden away from the bustle of South Street. Looks like another solid entry in our already heavyweight pub scene. Sadly, the $3 Pabst and Jim Beam special, invented by the late Rick D. of the shuttered Tritone, is no longer available. Hopefully it will return at some point.
