Even In Death, Joey Vento is a Racist Jerk

Joey Vento—the owner of Geno's Steaks, and a famous-xenophobic jamoke—is dead. Yet his legend lives on, spewing forth hatespeak from the grave, as seen in the picture above. The folks over at the Passyunk Post added this image to their Instagram account, asking whether or not this it's a new addition to the window.

The sign reads: "Joey Vento says: Press 1 for English, Press 2 for Deportation."

After perusing the Eater files and asking around, it looks as though this poster is new, or at least was taken down for a time. So, how long is the braintrust at Geno's going to be allowed to keep this up? And while people are busy speaking out against Chick-Fil-A, Geno's has a line a mile long at all times.
