There's a new food truck on the scene, called Local 215, which will debut at the Night Market in Mt. Airy this evening. The truck is owned by Eric Zolodessy, Alex Buckner, and Jon Murphy, who are dedicated to using as many sustainable ingredients as possible, including breaking down whole hogs themselves.
Grub Street is reporting that the truck will ultimately find a home at 33rd and Arch Streets, and join the PMFA gatherings as often as possible. Tonight, the menu will be seriously scaled back because of the insane crowds, but includes some quality-sounding goodies. They're whipping up crispy polenta triangles topped with a choice of pork belly, seasonal greens, or torched cheese; pork fritters with a remoulade; and roasted corn salad with heirloom tomatoes.
