Ocean Prime is on the way to replace the long-shuttered Roy's Hawaiian fusion restaurant at 15th and Sansom Streets. Restaurateur Cam Mitchell is behind Ocean Prime, and has 8 other outposts of the seafood chain operating across the U.S. The opening date for our local version is set for Spring of 2013.

The space can hold 260 guests, with additional space for 60 people in the lounge. Menus are pretty much standard across the board for each Ocean Prime, with the most expensive dish being twin lobster tails for $44. The wine list is quite deep, and other Ocean Prime locations offer 50 different wines by the glass. While the thought of another steakhouse in Center City Philly is hard to swallow, a supper club seafood restaurant is a nice change of pace for the expense account set.
