My gig's always got me eating out at new and different places, so I don't get to see a lot of the same front-of-the-house faces I would like to. That said, I've got much love for Annamaria (Last Name Unknown) from Mr. Joe's Cafe.
I was the first person to formally review this vintage-themed charmer back in 2008, and I've made it a point to stop in periodically since then. Every time I'm there, Annamaria is there, navigating the narrow floorspace, ferrying crabs and macaroni between, steaming a damn fine cappuccino and offering free red wine with a wink at 11 a.m.
