The mere title of sommelier conjures up all sorts of stuffy imagery: some cork-sniffing, over priced Bordeaux hawking, down-talking, loftier-than-thou jerk in a suit. This is not the case with Vetri Family Beverage Director Steve Wildy.
The ever-dapper Wildy brings a friendliness, approachability and sense of humor to the table. All of the Vetri ventures have serious beverage programs, ones that have the possibility of leaving Franzia die hards and Bud Light Lime drinkers out of the loop, but Wildy is there to assist and inform whether it's pairing lambrusco with pizza, frothing up beer cocktails and pulling negronis from the tap.
Oh, and aside from being an all around great dude, Wildy's got some A+ Twitter skills.
