In case you've missed all the Oktoberfest happenings this week, it's no big deal because the big blowout is happening tomorrow. Brauhaus Schmitz is shutting down the 700 block of South Street to throw their annual block party complete with pigs on a spit, epic amounts of beer, and all sorts of German mirth-making.
The event kicks off at noon tomorrow and rages on until 8 p.m. Chef Jeremy Nolen will be working the fire all day, and is whipping up lots of great food in addition to the main attraction pig roast. If you didn't get a VIP package, don't worry, as there are still going to be plenty of port-o-pottys for those of you who will be drinking way too much beer. The event is pay as you go, so bring plenty of cash.
