Top Chef Mike Isabella Coming to Philly

Top Chef fave Mike Isabella is coming to Philly twice over the next month to cook and hang out with the local restaurant set. On September 18, he's doing a dinner with fellow TC alum and Philly local Kevin Sbraga at Sbraga, and then on October 1, he'll be the guest chef for Amis' very popular Industry Night. Isabella is also promoting his very first cookbook, Crazy Good Italian, which he will have on hand at Amis and will probably do the signtaure thing if you ask really nicely.

As for the rumors that Isabella is opening a restaurant here in Philly, it's not on the books...yet. His representation is saying there are no plans at this time, but, as you know, we all take that with a grain of salt. It wouldn't be a stretch, as Isabella has ties here from his previous cooking life, and he's good buddies with Jen Carroll, Tim Spinner, as well as Kevin Sbraga.
