Local brewery Yuengling cracked the list of the top 20 best selling beers in the U.S. for the first time in 2012. Coming in at # 18, Yuengling Lager sold $254 million worth of beer this year, which translates to 11.7 million cases, displaying almost 25% growth in just one amazing year. While Yuengling is as ubiquitous as macrobreweries in our area, the U.S. obsession with craft brewing made owner Dick Yuengling a billionaire over the past decade.
