Now that Honeygrow is a hit in Center City, owner Justin Rosenberg cut the ribbon on his first expansion in Bala Cynwyd today. The high-end stir fry and salad concept opened up shop at 11 a.m. this morning at 169 East City Avenue. This time around, the space is packed into 2,500 square feet (which is twice as large as the original), and has 55 seats, which is twenty more than the 16th and Ionic location.
Honeygrow joins Mama's Pizzeria (one of the best cheesesteaks in Philly), and Citron and Rose (Mike Solomonov's kosher joint), as the few destination spots Bala Cynwyd for the food set. While there's a lot of competition in town for lunch dollars, Honeygrow has a good chance to be a go-to spot for the local workers.
