The annual bashing of Restaurant Week is back in full-effect, and this year, it's going big-time. "Fuck Restaurant Week," said one longtime restaurant publicist in regards to the "event," and uber-restaurateur Marc Vetri went on his usual offensive. One owner explained the math: "The national average in restaurants is a nickel of profit on the dollar... it costs you $150 to join Restaurant Week, so the first $3,000 that comes in is break-even."
