It looks like the upcoming West Philly outpost of Shake Shack isn't the only local expansion for Danny Meyer's burger juggernaut. Shake Shack is building a stand-alone solar powered outpost in King of Prussia on Mall Boulevard, which was most-recently a Wachovia Bank. As of now, it looks like the KOP locals and mall tourists should be eating Shack Burgers by the fall.
Philly's warm reception to the arrival of Shake Shack convinced the braintrust to continue their expansion plans for our area, which is notable since we hate just about everything coming from NYC. There's no news as to what the menu will offer in terms of exclusives, but as soon as we know, you'll know.
