ATLANTIC CITY — This is some great news. The legendary White House Subs has re-opened for the first time since October, when Hurricane Sandy tore through Atlantic City. After replacing all of the destroyed equipment and overhauling the entire building, the 65-year-old sandwich shop is back in the game. So, head down there this weekend and buy like eight meatball subs. [Grub Philly]
EAST PASSYUNK — Philly's obsession with chef collabs is going strong, and The Pantastic Four—Chris Kearse of Will, Nicholas Elmi of Rittenhouse Tavern, Lee Styer of Fond, Jon Cichon of Lacroix—is presenting a series of dinners at each others restaurants. Starting on January 13 at Will, the group is whipping up a pretty exclusive 10-course meal that will set you back $100. In February, the same crew will set up shop at Rittenhouse Tavern, followed by Fond in March. [The Insider]
LOGAN SQUARE — The Hub Bub Coffee truck crew is taking their game indoors beginning January 14 at 3 Logan Square. That's right, the mobile caffeination operation is opening a Center City cafe that will be serving up espresso and coffee from artisan roasters, including local favorite Re-Animator. [Meal Ticket]
