Even though you might not have the cash flow of a whale, Matyson is helping you out this week with their lobster tasting menu which will only set you back $45. In addition to the five courses, they've teamed up with Moore Brothers to offer up wine pairings to help wash down all of that luxurious lobster. Reservations are pretty much required, as this menu will be one of the most popular they've ever offered, so ring the restaurant right now (215-564-2925) to hold your spot.
Matyson Lobster Tasting:
Pumpkin Seed Soup
Barley, squash, mint
Potato Gnocchi
Bottarga, creme fraiche, citrus ash
Chawanmushi
Foie gras, mushroom, pear, parsnip
Veal Sweetbread
Curry, cauliflower, almond, leek
Bananas Foster Poundcake
Vanilla ice cream
Yes, there's no lobster listed in any of the menu items, but chef Ben Puchowitz promises that each and every course has lobster going on.
